Winter 2016/2017 Options



We will only be offering Meat Shares this winter, no vegetable shares.

Meat Shares

Meat shares are delivered to your selected pick-up location for a total of 3 deliveries. Shares come in an insulated box and will have your name on it. There will be 3 deliveries: December, February, April.

The meat is not certified organic but the animals are antibiotic free and raised on organic pasture and supplemented with organic hay and local non-GMO grains.

Beef (1/8 cow or 48 lbs): $420/season
Pork (1/4 pig or 48 lbs): $330/season
Chicken (9 roasting chickens total): $181.50/season

  1. Are the cows and pigs free range? Do they spend most of their time outdoors with access to fresh air and water.? I am new to your CSA

    1. All the animals spend lots of time outdoors and graze on fresh grass, pasture, bugs, and our own organic veggie scraps much of the time. They also eat grains that are grown on the farms, especially during the winter months. Our next Farm Tour isn't until next spring, but we'd love to have you out to see the farms and animals first hand.

    1. We hope to include spelt flour, spelt berries, and puffed spelt, corn meal, emmer flour, cracked wheat, and dried beans, amoungst other things.

    1. At this point our delivery locations for the winter are pretty much set, but for future reference, we would need 15+ signups.

  10. What types of jarred goods are included and how much is included in each delivery?

    1. Every year it's different, but this year we plan to have chopped tomatoes, and salsa for sure, after that it's up in the air, probably some honey. In the past we've done pickled things, jams, etc. Hope this helps
